The Stench
Find out how Ken Cuccinelli's not just a tinfoil-hat, John Birch Society-style, extremist wackjob, he's also corrupt, in the The Continuing Chronicle of Ken Cuccinelli's Corruption. It really stinks!

Virginia News Headlines: Monday Morning

by: lowkell

Mon Oct 22, 2012 at 07:01:07 AM EDT

Here are a few Virginia (and national) news headlines for Monday, October 22.

*George McGovern, former senator, presidential candidate, dies at 90 (A great man, rest in peace sir!)
*US election debate: Candidates to spar on foreign policy
*Krugman: The Secret of Our Non-Success ("Mitt Romney's economic team rejects that evidence. And this denialism bodes ill for policy if Mr. Romney wins next month.")
*Obama leads in latest poll as Romney loses bounce (A poll from the Moonie Times no less!)
*GOP controlled Virginia Board Of Elections refuses to prosecute GOP
*Region flooded by $170m in campaign ads
*Welcome to D.C., suburb of Tysons?
*Obama's second-term agenda ("It's not as hidden or as vague as many critics claim.")
*Davis, Warner weigh in on presidential race in Virginia
*Santorum to stump for Romney Monday in Roanoke (Mr. "Man on Dog" comes to Virginia for Willard "Mitt" RobMe. That says it all.)
*Anthony Flaccavento seeking to unseat Republican incumbent Morgan Griffith
*Property rights amendment would put an onerous burden on local government (Surovall and Puller get it right.)
*Editorial: Broken promises on mental health reform
*Springsteen to sing for Obama in Charlottesville
*Road deaths and injuries down across state, but trend stalls
*Va. Beach council incumbent challenged from right
*Political fallout in Southwest Virginia's coal country (Message to coal miners: Republicans are THE LAST people in the world who are going to help you in any way.)
*Washington lets it slip away in loss to N.Y.

UPDATE: A brand new Q/CBS poll has Obama up 5 points over RMoney in Ohio. Also, a brand new Morning Call/Muhlenberg poll has Obama up 5 points in Pennsylvania. Very nice; no way RobMe wins without Ohio, that's for sure, and Pennsylvania is a crucial part of the Democrats' core path to 270 electoral votes.

There are so many if's to describe the corrupt republican party it is getting old. In this care "if" there been a democratic party operative destroying voter registration forms you could bet old cooch would have sprung into action.
