The Stench
Find out how Ken Cuccinelli's not just a tinfoil-hat, John Birch Society-style, extremist wackjob, he's also corrupt, in the The Continuing Chronicle of Ken Cuccinelli's Corruption. It really stinks!

Virginia News Headlines: Saturday Morning

by: lowkell

Here are a few Virginia news headlines, political and otherwise, for Saturday, September 8. Also, check out the video, which highlights the extremist, insane views of Rep. Steve King (R-IA), who Mitt Romney just said yesterday he wants to "partner" with in Washington, DC. Frightening...and completely unacceptable.

*Sept. 7: Polls Find Hints of Obama Convention Bounce
*Obama, Romney begin sprint to the finish line (Will Romney's sprint be on one of his wife's dressage horses or on one of his many expensive automobiles parked in one of his mansions with a car elevator? Heh.)
*Cuccinelli is right: Eminent domain should not hurt public (The question is why we need this in the constitution, and whether the amendment is written so expansively - "no less than the value of the property taken, lost profits and lost access" - that it would, as Norfolk Mayor Paul Fraim argues, make the "cost of taking someone's property would be absolutely prohibitive?" I'm with Fraim on this one.)
*Allen opposes I-95 toll plan
*Abortion regulations before Va. board next week (Uh oh...)
*Romney plans stop at RIR on Saturday (LOL, here's some free advice for Willard as he jokes with the common folk about how "I have worn a garbage bag for rain gear myself," etc.)
*Can city life be exported to the suburbs? (They can be more city-like than they currently are, but good luck turning them into real cities...)
*Jail time: Governor signs life-sentence law for pedophiles
*PERSPECTIVE: The most interesting race being ignored this year
*Kaine bashes GOP at DNC
*22 years for Michael Gardner in sexual battery case
*Cuccinelli won't appeal ruling vacating Va. death penalty sentence
*Nearing the limit: Strasburg pulled after 3 innings as Nationals lose to Marlins 9-7 in 10
