Wow, you can't get much more arrogant than this. According to Ann Romney:
1. Romney gives 10% of his income to the Mormon Church (that's basically a requirement; see here), which proves he's SUCH a good person and SOOOO generous that he would NEVER hide something. Sorry, but no.
2. Anyway, assuming Willard's as good and decent as Ann Romney says he is, then why not just show everyone the tax returns? There's nothing to hide in there, right? Because, Ann Romney inadvertently admits, that would just lead to more attacks. But wait, why would there be attacks it's all sunbeams and puppy dogs in those tax returns? Obviously, because there's some bad, bad...uh, stuff in them there tax returns. Why else would Willard refuse to release them, like his own father and the vast majority of presidential candidates have done over the years? Yep, it's time to apply Occam's Razor, everybody!!! :)
3. Regardless, Ann Romney says, "we've given all you people need to know and understand about our financial situation and about how we live our life."
Wow. Utterly arrogant, utterly out of touch, and utterly insufferable. My god, these people; I am truly having a tough time wrapping my brain around the thought that Republicans nominated Willard "Mitt" Romney, let alone the thought that we might have to listen to these kind of nails-on-chalkboard, cringe-inducing comments continually for the next four years from Ann and him. All I can say is, we'd better work our butts off to make sure that doesn't happen. What a nightmare.
