Virginia News Headlines: Sunday Morning

Here are a few Virginia news headlines, political and otherwise, for Sunday, May 6. Also, here's some video from yesterday's Obama for President rally in Richmond. Sounds like a great event, verrrry different (in terms of size, enthusiasm, diversity, activity level, you name it) from a Romney "rally."

*Obama speaks at VCU, formally launches campaign ("Former Gov. Tim Kaine also spoke and VCU men's basketball coach Shaka Smart emceed.")
*President Obama: Don't Let Romney 'Turn Back The Clock' (The Republican Party's might as well be "Going Backwards Separately," as opposed to "Forward Together" or "Moving Virginia Forward" or whatever)
*'Virginia ... we're not going back'
*Dem Senate hopefuls don't shy away from Obama in Virginia, Ohio
*Schapiro: Right-to-work law rises again as a campaign issue (Uh, Republicans? Tim Kaine SUPPORTS "right to work," just like you do, just like George Allen does. So what are you doing attempting to make this an issue in the Allen-Kaine race?)
*Mr. Allen's message ("Allen op-ed piece a sterling example of rhetorical generality that the GOP doesn't need")
*Obama-Romney will drive Virginia Senate race
*Virginia AG Ken Cuccinelli says he'll campaign for Romney - when he's asked (Now THAT's being a team player, huh? LOL)
*Cuccinelli: Va. law should help clear names of wrongly convicted
*McDonnell files budget amendments
*McDonnell wants legislators to contribute to their pensions
*Editorial: History still lingers for black Virginians ("A new report shows the playing field remains uneven long after the Civil Rights Movement.")
*Democrats embrace Douglass in U.S. House race
*Hurdles amid progress for Silver Line
*Hostage-taking on the Silver Line
*Fairfax Co. chairman heads to Turkey
*Caps bounce back with Game 4 win
*Forecast: Mostly cloudy and cooler, but can't complain too much
