Virginia News Headlines: Monday Morning

by: lowkell

Mon Mar 12, 2012 at 07:04:52 AM EDT

Here are a few Virginia news headlines, political and otherwise, for Monday, March 12. Also, the Khan Academy (its goal: "providing a free world-class education to anyone anywhere") was featured on 60 Minutes last night, and I found it inspiring. I just wish all the teahadists (Can'tor et al.) out there would watch videos like this one, explaining Econ 101. Note -- no mention of the Laffer Curve or any of the other mantras of Grover Norquist et al. Perhaps because they're a bunch of bull?

*Ken Cuccinelli's climate-change witch hunt ("If...[Ken Cuccinelli] needs examples of official waste and abuse as he runs for governor, he could cite the harassment that he conducted against climate scientist Michael E. Mann, a costly episode of government overreach that is finally over.")

*McDonnell, Maryland governor debate politics

The WaPo editorial on Cuccinelli witch-hunt... (0.00 / 0)
...reads like a BV diary on the topic.  It's a good thing our position prevailed -- it was just common sense, but of course, that isn't always what wins...
