Obama: GOP "drove the car into the ditch...now they want the keys back!"

by: lowkell

Nailed it.
After they drove the car into the ditch, made it as difficult as possible for us to pull it back, now they want the keys back. No! You can't drive! We don't want to have to go back into the ditch. We just got the car out.

UPDATE: National Journal reports that the economy under Barack Obama and the Democrats is on track to create "more jobs in 2010 alone than it did over the entire eight years of George W. Bush's presidency." And that's in spite of relentless Republican opposition to everything ("the party of no") and talking down of the U.S. economy.  G'Obama!

UPDATE #2: According to Gallup's latest, Barack Obama is now at +11 approval (52%-41%), his highest net approval in 3 months, according to Gallup. Combined with today's RK2000 poll (55%-41% approval), could things finally be starting to turn around for Dem's?

I could pull up stuff about Kagan but not what I think you posted, so what happened?

Not sure why that happened (0.00 / 0)
but I fixed it.

It would be surprising.. (4.00 / 1)
...If Obama's numbers weren't going up. He's been on a steady roll -- health care in place, economy clearly in recovery, progress on nuclear policy and financial reform in the works.

Meanwhile, the right continues to discredit itself with spokesmorons like Beck, Limbaugh, Palin and Cooch. Between success and foaming-at-the-mouth insanity, there's not much of a choice, is there?

Impeachinelli! Now on Twitter.

I'm hoping Obama's numbers (0.00 / 0)
are approaching 60%-40% or higher by the fall.   If that's the case, Dem's should be in decent shape, especially if the economy continues to create jobs at a healthy clip.

The Republicans not only drove the economic car into the ditch; (0.00 / 0)
they also rolled, totaled and refused to repair it!

Who's "they" (1.00 / 1)
Last I checked it's the legislature that approves spending. Who was driving and who was voting on that spending (The Messiah voted on the bailout - the very bail out he cries about inheriting)when we were driven into that ditch.

Face it libbies, it's all over but the crying...Obama is one and done, gonna spend two years as a quacking, flapping lame duck as the people respond to the irresponsible spending, irresponsible leadership.

I love reading these lies about recovery, it's not getting better, it's gotten worse despite the lies and propoganda spewed by the left.

Nice Belated Driveby Attempt (4.00 / 1)
You would be talking about the bailout bill that the Bush administration insisted must be passed or the world economy would crash. Senator Webb provided context for the current mess just yesterday.
