Will "Baby Newt" Welcome Big Newt to Virginia?

When it comes right down to it, there aren't a lot of differences, policy-wise or otherwise, between George "Baby Newt" Allen and Newt Gingrich. In other words, if you don't like Big Newt, you certainly won't love "Baby Newt!"  Heh.

Phone call to help get Newt on ballot ... (0.00 / 0)
I just received a phone call as an "identified Republican" to help get Newt on the ballot in Virginia. The automated message listed off locations all in Virginia Beach, Norfolk and Portsmouth. Then Newt will be at a rally in Arlington tonight.

So ya'll up there in NOVA and Virginia Beach area be sure to get Newt on the ballot. He needs to win the nomination ya know.

Ask Republicans, "What Senate Candidate Looks to Communists as Role Models?" (0.00 / 0)
The answer: George Allen wants to adopt the tax code of the People's Republic of China. On November 25, 2011, "The Fairfax County Times" published Allen's commentary bemoaning our nation's decline from 1st place to 5th in the World Economic Forum's annual Global Competitiveness Report trying to blame Governor Tim Kaine.

While George W. Bush pushed us down the pathway of decline in 2008, the People's Republic of China is not even listed in the top 25 most competitive nations. We're in the top 5 and Allen wants us to follow a less competitive nation. Allen's weak arguments do not make any sense. He has forgotten the strength of American innovation. I am in this fight to help create effective solutions, not to copy the flawed systems of other nations.

Knowing the history, it's clear why his party's base does not support George Allen. The benefit of going with establishment candidates: they're supposed to inspire confidence.

Considering the serious fiscal and economic challenges confronting our nation, are you inspired yet?
