Help Rich Anthony Beat Frank Wolf

by: lowkell

Wed Mar 17, 2010 at 14:25:11 PM EDT

The following is from the 10th CD Democratic campaign of Rich Anthony, who I endorsed in December and have been consulting to on netroots/new media matters since January.  For more on Rich, please see his Blue Virginia interview. Just to be absolutely clear, please note that my endorsement of Rich is my own, not necessarily that of other Blue Virginia "front pagers."
lowkell :: Help Rich Anthony Beat Frank Wolf
Dear Lowell,

Have you heard the news?

A NBC/Wall Street Journal poll now pegs the disapproval rating of Congress at 77%, but even more interesting is that 50% of people said that they are willing to fire their current Congressman.

The American people are tired of politicians who are not getting anything accomplished. If you live in the 10th Congressional District, you probably received a piece of glossy direct mail from Frank Wolf in which he proclaims that he is voting no on everything. This is exactly what people are sick of.

People are crying out for progressive reforms and looking for people with real solutions to their problems. This is where I need your help.

Your contribution of $200, $100,or $75 will help to allow me to get out my positive message for the future and to be able to combat Frank Wolf's taxpayer funded defense of the status-quo.

With your help, we will be able to get the resources we need to be successful in November.

Thanks-

Rich Anthony

Rich vs. Jeff (0.00 / 0)
I met Jeff Barnett at a meet-and-greet coffee here in Loudoun over the weekend and was pleasantly impressed. He was calm, poised and knew his stuff. He adroitly moved the conversation to his strengths and his issues regardless of where the discussion started.

It is interesting to me that so many people I know and trust have come out for Rich, it seems like his campaign has a lot of momentum. When he spoke before the LCDC late last year Rich's demeanor was definitely less "polished" than one might expect, but he had just started his campaign at that point.

I'm undecided.
