Cooch Tries to Make a Joke About Osama and "Virginans" -- FAILS!

by: lowkell

WTF? Is this guy seriously our state's Attorney General and a hero of conservatives across America? This "joke" - "Virginans" a clever play on words about "virgins," it appears - by Ken Kookinelli for real?  I mean, this is about as juvenile, in a Beavis and Butthead way, as you can get. "Heh, I said "Virginans" - heh heh heh." How pathetic, what an embarrassment this guy has been and continues to be, with his war on science, his effort to cover up the breast on Virginia's state seal, etc. Where on earth did Republicans find this freak, and how on earth did he ever get elected to anything, let alone AG?!?

P.S. Cooch is now in serious competition - with Condoleezza Rice, among others - for THE single stupidest comment made by any public figure since Osama bin Laden was killed. Not surprising, in fact I was waiting for Cooch to open his mouth on this and expecting something completely nuts, stupid, or both. And check it out, he didn't disappoint!

Stolen from Robin Williams (0.00 / 0)
It's a joke made by Robin Williams in an HBO special [I think] aired shortly after 9-11, referring to the hi-jackers.

And yeah, politicians should leave comedy to the comedians.

Demonstrates that he completely misses the importance and gravity of this event. Immature or worse.

Does this mean... (0.00 / 0)
that the Cooch wishes he were losing his Virginianity to Osama bin Laden?

Must be his secret wish...After all he says he wants to be on of the "virginans."

One dozen Virginians were sufficient to lay Osama to rest, but the Cuckoo needs six dozen? Perchance we could provide? Though, for a much married and self avowed Christian, it's a peculiar request, to say the least.

Jason Linkins at HuffPo explains.... (0.00 / 0)
In an hilarious post entitled, "Ken Cuccinelli Wants To Be One Of Bin Laden's 72 Virgins, For Some Reason," Linkins explains that the tweet was a reference to an old joke that apparently made the rounds on the Intertubes some time ago (joke is below).

http://www.huffingtonpost.com/...

But the point remains. First, Cuccinelli should learn to check his spelling more carefully -- this is a kind of embarrassing error.

But second, this is a childish response to a serious matter, a reminder for all of us that the AG may be an ideologue with power, but he is not a serious person.

Whatever Cuccinelli's intent, this is one of those things that subjects not only him, but the entire Commonwealth, to ridicule.

Anyway, the joke:

After getting nailed by a Daisy Cutter, Osama made his way
to the pearly gates. There, he is greeted by George Washington.

"How dare you attack the nation I helped conceive!" yells Mr.
Washington, slapping Osama in the face.

Patrick Henry comes up from behind. "You wanted to end the
Americans' liberty, so they gave you death!" Henry punches
Osama on the nose.

James Madison comes up next, and says "This is why I allowed
the Federal government to provide for the common defense!"
He drops a large weight on Osama's knee.

Osama is subject to similar beatings from John Randolph of
Roanoke, James Monroe, and 65 other people who have the
same love for liberty and America. As he writhes on the ground,
Thomas Jefferson picks him up to hurl him back toward the gate
where he is to be judged.

As Osama awaits his journey to his final very hot destination,
he screams "This is not what I was promised!"

An angel replies "I told you there would be 72 Virginians
waiting for you. What did you think I said?"

Most people don't know that joke (0.00 / 0)
but even if they did, Cooch is completely juvenile, disrespectful, and unprofessional. And those are his BETTER qualities!  Heh.

Here's a google to the original... (0.00 / 0)
Or what I assume was the origin of the internet joke.

I won't link directly to the you tube Robin Williams video, but it's easy to find:
