New Poll: 5th CD Race a Statistical Tie?

by: lowkell

Tue Sep 21, 2010 at 19:29:21 PM EDT

Is the 5th CD race between Tom Perriello, Jeff Clark, and that other guy (Rob, Rob, Rob...whatever his name is - ha) a statistical tie?  According to a newpoll, it looks that way.
The new poll, conducted by Benenson Strategy Group for Perriello's campaign, showed Hurt leading, 46 percent to 44 percent, with independent candidate Jeffrey Clark picking up 4 percent, and 5 percent undecided. The poll's margin of error was plus or minus 4.9 percent...
So much for this race being non-competitive.  I urge everyone to get involved in helping Perriello pull this one out. Go Tom!

In other news, the cowardly Republican candidate has backed out of yet another debate, this time in Danville on October 26.  How do you spell "pathetic loser?" H-U-R-T.

Has anyone heard about this march for Oct 2, One Nation?  I heard about it on The Ed Show today.

Perriello Need That Help (0.00 / 0)
Tom Perriello is one of the best campaigners I have ever seen in Virginia. That's the reason he pulled off the upset in 2008 (that and Barack Obama's coattails in some parts of the 5th).  He's doing all the things an excellent candidate should to earn re-election.

If anyone can help, please do so. the 5th District is as large as New Jersey. That's a lot of territory that needs volunteers.

Hope this convinces the DCCC... (0.00 / 0)
...to keep supporting Tom, who's earned every bit of whatever his campaign gets for his genuine commitment to progressive principles and the Democratic agenda.

Impeachinelli! Now on Twitter.
