As Talking Points Memo has been tracking, a thousand or so people have been shouting their way around Congress today for the "Capitol Hill Tea Party." It was organized by Rep. Michele "War on Light Bulbs" Bachmann, who ranks south of even Sarah Palin on Teh Crazy Scale.
I just called over to the offices of Sen. Mark Warner & Sen. Jim Webb, leaving messages asking them to support health insurance reform that includes a strong public option:
Sen. Mark Warner - 202-224-2023Please take a minute to do the same! If you talk to anyone in their offices, let us know what you hear in comments.
Sen. Jim Webb - 202-224-4024
UPDATE by Lowell: Amazingly, Rep. Rick Boucher is UNDECIDED on urgently needed health care reform! Please call his office at 202-225-3861 or fax him at 202-225-0442 and tell him to vote YES on providing high-quality, affordable health care coverage to all Americans! Thanks.

Done...I called and emailed them. I usually like Webb's return emails alot better than Mark Warner's. They are more personal.
I was told by both offices that the staffer would pass my message on. No where near as encouraging as the assurance I got from Jim Moran's office that he would be voting for reform with the public option.
Hi folks,I guess everyone here saw the "Dachau" sign at the Teabag rally earlier. You know, the sign equating the Dem Health Care Plan to the Nazi Holocaust:

And we all know Cantor spoke at this rally.
It turns out Cantor sits on the board of trustees of the Virginia Holocaust Museum. I recommend all Virginians contact the museum and get them on Cantor's ass. The Anti-Defamation League condemns exploitation of the Holocaust for cheap political purposes.
Here's the contact info for the Holocaust Museum:

Hello Lowell, I haven't found a place to feel at home since RK shut down. I am glad you are back.
