Major Milestone in Netroots History Coming Up

Thursday, April 23, 2009

In less than a week, a major milestone in netroots/blogger history will take place, with the first-ever, statewide, netroots, gubernatorial debate being held in Blacksburg. You can ask your questions here, and I'll relay them to Ben Tribbett of NLS (one of the three blogs co-moderating the debate), or you can tweet them. The debate should be fascinating, both because of the candidates themselves but also because of the netroots angle, and I'm greatly looking forward to it. Again, please feel free to use this as an open question thread. Thanks.

  1. Lowell, will you be at the Blaksburg debate ?

My twin brother Jim and I will be there. I'm asking partly because I want to introduce Jim to you since you were kind enough to autograph a copy of "Netroots Rising" for Jim. BTW, he was very impressed with the political history in your book, not just the netroots history.

  2. Thanks Tom, I probably won't be in Blacksburg because of the time, expense, distance, etc. I'd love to meet your brother sometime; any friend (or kin) of yours is a friend of mine! :)
